I’m the writer for Vic Boone, a mix of science fiction and pulp detective novels. I’m trying to win a contest put on by DC comics. The winner receives a year contract. I’ve been told the comic has a European feel by others. So, I am trying to find European fans for the comic.

I’m asking people here to vote for me. There is no spam in registering to vote. I promise.

I really want to win this contest, as it is my childhood dream to write comics. This is a webcomic. If we win, we will be able to continue the story for a year.

Please Vote for Vic. Any and all support would be greatly appreciated. Tell your friends or anyone you think might enjoy the comic.

Any suggestions on other comic websites? Norwegian sites? Anything?

I forget comics are universal. I was hoping that speaking dutch might encourage more people to read and vote for the book. Now, i realize it was very silly, and my translation was really bad. :slight_smile:

I do hope that you will read and vote for Vic Boone and try to get your friends to do the same. I really want to win. It is my best friend doing the art. It would make us very, very happy to win. :]

To be honest, If it hadn’t been you that pointed me to this site, I would have given my vote to “junk”.
Yours seems the only one that’s a nice little story by itself, kind of a rounded up prologue. Very entertaining and I really like it ( and would love to read the rest of it ).
But “junk” is more my kind of thing, especially the artwork.
Also “the stuffed animal sagas” made a deep impression on me, although I wonder whether the rhyme and rhythm of he text would still be bearable after XXX pages.

BTW, did you do a post on (http://www.stripdatabank.be/stripforum/) ? you might find some votes there too.
